    $1.00 a week ($52 a year) can provide four hours of intensive day treatment or one day of substance abuse treatment.

     

     

    $1.00 a day ($365 a year) can provide three individual or family therapy sessions, five group therapy sessions or three prevention presentations in schools.

     

     

    $50 a month ($600 a year) can provide six weeks of intensive day treatment, six weeks of individual or family therapy or six weeks of prevention presentations in schools.

     

     

    88 percent of west central Arkansas students in grade 12 believe that smoking cigarettes is bad for your health while only 37 percent believe that smoking marijuana is bad for your health.

     

     

    93 percent of students in grade 6 believe their parents would disapprove of them drinking alcohol. That number falls to only 68 percent by the 12 grade.

     

     

    One out of four sixth graders have admitted to drinking alcohol. By grade 10 more than 1 out of 2 have admitted the same.
